Mary Bates letters 1845.

Two of the letters were written from Tallahassee, Fla. and one from Dudley, Mass. to a Charles Dana, Jr. of Woodstock, Vt. One, dated April 11, 1845, gives a vivid description of a sea voyage from New York via Nassau to Florida. This letter also gives a good description of Wakulla Springs in Wakulla County near Tallahassee.
